The Goal of INTERNATIONAL STEWARD   To train up leaders to give leadership to the ministry of stewardship and fund development   INTERNATIONAL STEWARD is committed to the eventual replacement of the funds flowing from the "west" with a vast network of effective ministers of stewardship in every country. God's people, whether in villages of poverty or high-rises of wealth, must become effective managers of God's resources in order to live His life to the fullest and in order to locally fund The Great Commission. This imperative is the heartbeat of INTERNATIONAL STEWARD. INTERNATIONAL STEWARD strives to realize... — the completion of The Great Commission through the ministry leadership of nationals serving in their culture;   — the commitment of Christians worldwide to full discipleship as stewards of God's resources and maturity in the grace of giving.   The Strategy of INTERNATIONAL STEWARD "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations... teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matt 18:19-20 (NIV) INTERNATIONAL STEWARD trains, equips, and mentors nationals in majority-world countries who are now or will be in positions of three types of ministry leadership. The encouraging news is that the potential for reaching millions in their own culture rests securely in the lives of nationals. These are men and women with exemplary dedication and unending commitment. — Churches/Denominations -- Current ministry leaders gather together because of common financial  challenges. Together they receive instruction and encouragement through the INTERNATIONAL STEWARD Introductory Workshop;   — Seminary students -- The academies of Christian higher education offer the curriculum for credit or audit and equips students prior to accepting positions of leadership;   — Directors/Leaders -- Mission agencies attend workshops that desire their field leadership be trained for fiscal sustainability.
